We have extensive experience in providing Entertainment & Team Building for hundreds of clients every year in this region.  We have built up the most thorough knowledge of any business of Entertainment & Team Building from:

Our expertise assists our clients to get the sound, lighting & staging that best suits their functions and also that best showcases the entertainment booked. We also know what sound & lighting equipment the various acts own – meaning that we can often identify savings for our clients. Our expertise will help you get the best overall sound, lighting, staging and entertainment package for your function.
• Wedding Suppliers Our in depth experience in the wedding industry means that we know how best to work in with your chosen marriage officiant (religious or civil); your venue; caterer; florist, wedding planner (if you are using one) & any other businesses providing goods or services for your wedding. Our expertise will help you have an even more wonderful & special wedding ceremony and/or reception.
• Hire companies & other suppliers Many hire companies & other suppliers tell us that they love it when they know the entertainment is booked through MEA Entertainment & Team Building – as we always assist to ensure that the entertainment works in well with all other suppliers and works best for the client.
• Event Managers & Theming companies We are very experienced in working with Event managers & Theming companies. Many of these companies are amongst our best repeat clients as they value our superior knowledge of Entertainment acts and Team Building Activities in Cairns, Port Douglas and the wider Tropical North Queensland region - as well as for our professional service. Our expertise means that if you are using an Event Manager or Theming company; they can concentrate on things other than the entertainment or team building as we will manage that for you (including our free onsite management). Our service in this regard has saved money for many of our clients.
• Please ask if you would like recommendations for other suppliers. Many clients use our expertise to provide recommendations to them for other suppliers in this region. We are only too happy to assist you in this way if you wish.

• We provide descriptions and prices of the most highly recommended acts and activities that are in your budget and that meet your requirements – ranked in order of recommendation for you.
• For music acts we also email to you play lists & demo tracks (we will post to you if you prefer).
• Professional and unbiased advice from our professional entertainment & team building consultants.
• We tailor our recommendations to best meet each client’s requirements. Many other people and businesses just recommend the same two or three acts for every occasion because they are friends or personal favourites. We work to get you the right entertainment to best meet your individual requirements.
• All details confirmed in writing – with you and your chosen Entertainment and/or Team Building.
• We never make double bookings and we always ensure that the entertainment or team building provider that we book for you is properly briefed. We lock in the entertainment or activity for your group.
• We liaise with you in the lead up to your event to identify any updated information that may need to be passed onto the entertainment or activity that we have booked for you.
• We liaise with the entertainers that we have booked for you to keep them updated regarding your entertainment requirements and related information.
• We liaise with your chosen venue/s and any other applicable suppliers who are involved in your event. We have strong working relationships with venues and other event service providers in this region – and are also very experienced in dealing with suppliers from elsewhere in Australia.
• On your event day, we will have one of our consultants onsite to show the entertainment or team building activity, that we have booked for you, where to set up and/or perform and to keep them updated regarding any changes to your requirements. There have been many occasions where our onsite consultant has been instrumental in facilitating the success of the entertainment for our clients. We are continually being told by clients that they value this free service highly.

While we most often provide Entertainment & Team Building services in the Cairns and Port Douglas regions; we also regularly provide assistance for corporate & wedding clients throughout Tropical North Queensland from the Torres Strait Islands down to Townsville & the Whitsunday Islands – and out west on the Atherton Tablelands and beyond.
